My journey into writing

I’ve always been a reader, and writing started for me back at school, though it was later in life that I truly committed to writing books seriously. I've always been drawn to romance – there's something deeply satisfying about a story that truly earns its ending. I appreciate strong characters who strive for what they achieve, and relationships that develop organically over time. Combine that with a thread of suspense, and you have exactly the kind of book I love to read – and now, the kind I love to write.

My unique storytelling approach

My writing tends to focus on what lies beneath the surface – the subtle shifts in character and relationship that truly shape a story. I'm less interested in overt drama and more in tension that builds gradually, grounded in careful detail, atmosphere, and the choices characters make. This leads to a slower, more deliberate kind of storytelling, where genuine connection holds as much importance as the plot itself.

The message I hope to share

I hope readers come away with a sense of having journeyed alongside my characters, witnessing their growth and the story's unfolding at its natural pace. More than anything, I hope they feel a genuine connection to the people within the book, as though they’ve met someone they'd like to spend more time with, and are quietly rooting for their own happy ending.

Influences beyond the page

I believe that life experience profoundly shapes our understanding of people and relationships, even if we don't draw from it directly in our writing. Over time, I've grown more interested in how individuals change, what they carry with them, and how they rebuild trust. These themes naturally weave their way into my stories, complementing my preference for quieter, more character-led narratives.
