A few weeks ago, I finally gave Sebastian and Addison's story its proper name.
Now I can show you the cover.
And I absolutely love it.
Against The Code is Book Two in The London Four, and I wanted its cover to feel as though it belonged beside Cold As Silk without simply repeating what I'd already done.
The London setting remains. The flower changes. The mood changes.
That was important to me because, although the two books share a world and familiar characters, Sebastian and Addison's story has its own personality. The cover needed to reflect that.
The vivid red flower against the dark background felt right from the moment I saw it. It's striking and a little uncompromising, which seems rather appropriate for this particular book.
And seeing the finished design sitting against the London skyline somehow makes the whole thing feel much more real.
The first draft is complete and I'm now deep into editing, working my way through the manuscript and giving Sebastian and Addison's story the same care I gave Eleanor and Nathan's.
There's still work to do before I'm ready to let them loose on the world, and I'm deliberately keeping some of my favourite moments to myself for now.
But today isn't about the editing or what's coming next.
Today, the cover gets its moment.
